"We've Got the World" was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003, performed in English by Mickey Harte. The song is a moderately up-tempo number, with Harte singing to his lover. He tells her that "We've got the world tonight/Let's hold on together", and explains that she is the reason that his world turns on its axis. For his performance in the E.S.C., Mickey wore a black suit, and played a green guitar. He was joined on stage by three female backing singers. The song peaked at #1 in the Irish Charts. The song was performed third on the night, following Austria's Alf Poier with "Weil der Mensch zählt" and preceding Turkey's Sertab Erener with "Everyway That I Can". At the close of voting, it had received 53 points, placing 11th in a field of 26. As Spain (one of the "Big Four") had placed in the top ten, this was enough to qualify Ireland for the final at the next Contest. In qualifying to represent Ireland, Harte won a the talent show "You're a Star" in Ireland. It was succeeded as Irish representative at the 2004 contest by Chris Doran with "If My World Stopped Turning". 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「We've Got the World」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
